Mrs. Sheffield died at her home in Pittsfield, Ohio, May 7th, 1892. Delia Watkins, wife of the late Robert Sheffield, who died September 14th, 1885. She was born in Morristown, N.Y., October 4th, 1832. Came to Ohio about 1834 with her parents and settled in Camden township, and was married to Robert Sheffield, April 26th, 1842. She has lived in this town for the last thirty years, and was the mother of five children, three of who survive her, S.F., C.F., and Mrs. Robert Merriam, all of this town. The deceased has been a great sufferer for many years, being afflicted both physically and mentally, and for the last nine months confined to her bed perfectly helpless, but nature was at last exhausted and released her from this world of suffering and pain. Funeral services at the house Monday, May 9th, at one o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. Corfman. A large concourse of friend and neighbors followed her to the last resting place in Camden cemetery. The family wish to extend their many thanks to the neighbors and friends for their kindness and help during their mother's sickness and death. The family have the sympathy of all their friends in their bereavement.
