PERU - Mrs. Hazel M. Hanson, 58, resident here for 25 years died at noon Sunday at Battle Creek, Mich. She had been ill for two years.
Born in Spikersville, Ind., on Feb. 12, 1897, she was the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Levasy) Rozell. She was married to Bert Hanson in 1926.
Survivors includes the husband, two brothers, Dewey, Danville, Ill., and Charles, Wabash; three sisters, Mrs. Dallas Umbarger and Mrs. Ester Cosler, both of Kokomo; and Mrs. William J. Copeland, Peru.
The body is at Drake-Flowers funeral home where friends may call Tuesday. Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel with the Rev. M.D. Ramsor officiating. Burial will be made in Falls cemetery, Wabash.
