ELIJAH L. DUFFER, TURMAN TOWNSHIP FARMER, SUCCUMBS

Elijah L. Duffer, 78 years old, Turman township farmer died at 11:30 a.m. today at the Mary Sherman Hospital following a lingering illness.

Mr. Duffer had spent most of his life farming at Graysville. His wife preceded him in death a few years ago. Survivors are five children, Hosea of Turman township, Mrs. Mary Fausett of Tampa, Fla., Pearl of Sullivan, Donald of Detroit, Mich., and Joseph of Graysville, and four grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Railsback Funeral Home and will be returned to the residence at Graysville Tuesday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

ELIJAH L. DUFFER RITES WEDNESDAY

Funeral rites for Elijah L. Duffer, Turman township farmer who died Monday morning will be conducted at the Big Springs church Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be made in the Mann cemetery. The body was taken this afternoon from the Railsback Funeral Home to the residence of Joseph Duffer, west of Graysville.

RITES AT BIG SPRINGS HONOR ELIJAH L. DUFFER

The funeral of Elijah L. Duffer, who passed away at the Mary Sherman hospital Monday, was held at the Big Springs church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. J. E. McCord officiating.

The song service was conducted by Halcyon Pound, Josephine Eno, and Mary Mann Wible accompanied at the piano by Mabel Setzer.

Pallberers were Forrest Shepherd, Harold Kinnett, Wade Bohn, Harold Horner, Hubert Edwards and Thomas Durham. Flower bearers were Wanda Shepherd, Grace Kinnett, Hazel Coppage, Mercedes Bohn, Lois Cox and Edna Pound.

Internment was made in Mann Cemetery.
