She was born April 6, 1917, in Charleston, W.V., daughter of Ernest M. Fisher and Virginia G. Jeffers Fisher. She died August 12, 2009, in Lecanto, Florida. She worked as an L.P.N. She moved to Inverness, Florida, from Clearwater, FL, in 1993. Mrs. Holt was a Baptist. She was a seamstress, and enjoyed playing the piano, organ and pipe organ spending many years as the church organist for a number of churches. She enjoyed traveling and was a volunteer with the Ruth Eckerd Center for the Performing Arts.
Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by brother, James L. Fisher. Survivors include husband, Martin E. Holt of Inverness, FL; son & daughter-in-law, Bob (Jennie) Fowler of Dunnellon, FL; stepson, Timothy Holt of Winter Park, FL; daughter & son-in-law, Emily (Joe) deLorenzi of Dunnellon, FL; daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn (David) Hogue of Branford, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
