Opal J. Carr, 81, of Gihon Road. Parkersburg died Nov 24, 1995 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born in Braxton County a daughter of the late Asa Lee and Rosie Meadows Wilson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Belfont United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Henry R. Carr, two sons, Dale C. Carr and James H. Carr, both of Parkersburg, one sister, Iva Skidmore of Parkersburg, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers. Services 2 p.m. Monday Lambert Tatmam funeral home Parkersburg. The Rev Keith Leap officiating. Burial Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday.
