Anna was the second of five children born to Alfred W. and Martha 'Elizabeth' (King) Fogleman. She married Wade Clarenton Moody in 1918 and they had three children: Dennis Wade, Louise Margaret and Mary Lee.

MOUNT AIRY - Mrs. Anna Catherine Fogleman Moody, 70, of Mount Airy, wife of Wade C. Moody, died Thursday at the Northern Surry Hospital where she had been a patient for a day. She had been in declining health for the past five years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Airy. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Moody Funeral Home.
