Funeral for James Alexander, 74, of Route 5 Hartselle will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Stephenson and the Rev. Earl Holt officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 10 at the funeral home.
Mr. Alexander died Wednesday at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Hill Alexander, two sons, Billy Alexander of Orange City, Fla., and Charles Hill of Okeechobee, Fla.; one daughter, Shirley Eddy of Hartselle; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
