Elsie I. Anspach, 86, of Doniphan, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at the Ripley Co., Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Anspach daughter of the late John and Dilia (Buckner) Hart, was born Sept. 9, 1922, in Winona. She was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith.
In 1937 she was married to Carl Edgar "Ed" Barton in Reyno, Ark.He preceded her in death in May 1953. She later married Moses Anspach and he too preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Fred Barton of Doniphan and Arnold Loyd Barton of Porterfield, Wis.; two sisters Opal Payne of Doniphan and Lee Hurst of Corning, Ark.10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Anspach was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one daughter, Bonnie Nichols; four brothers, Roy Hart, John Hart, Ray Hart, and Jackie Hart; and one sister Betty Ferre.
The visitation was held Saturday, July 25 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service was held Sunday, July 26 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, burial followed in the Johnston Cemetery in Reyno, Ark.
