" Horatio Gates Bronson was a son of Azor, and was born in Waterbury, Conn, Oct 16, 1809 and was an infant when his famiy emigrated to Columbia, Ohio. After the death of his father, we do not know how long, he and his brothers went to Olmstead to live, probably with relatives. He later moved to Brighton, where he purchased land in 1851. He married Lucy Jane McCreary Sept. 24,1839. He lived on the Peter DRaper farm when that section was known as "Bear Swamp". In the spring of 1858 he purchased land near Camden, Ohio and moved there living on the farm now owned by his son Fred.

Antoinette, Ellen Eunice, Ervinna, Victoria, Euphrasia, Irwin, Herbert Furielo, Laura G, Almeda C, Harley A, Fred H, and Hattie M. Bronson.
