Retired Bunker Hill worker dies:

Lee Tinney, 72, 407 W. Mullan, Kellog, Idaho, died Saturday at West Shoshone General Hospital. He was born June 2, 1909 in Cozy, New Mexico, to Elbert & Bessie Tinney, served in WW II and came here in 1953 from San Angelo, Texas. He worked at Bunker Hill for 21 years, retiring as a timber repair foreman. He married Mary Galligher of Kellog, Idaho, on Nov. 23, 1953, at Payette.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are a son, James Dale Tinney of Kellogg; a daughter, Sharon Lee White of Murray; two grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Tinney of San Angelo, Texas and Jim Tinney of Farmersville, Calif.; two sisters, Allene and Alice Snead of San Angelo, Texas. He was preceded in death by twin daughters.
Funeral will be at 11 A.M., Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Virgil Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Kellogg, with Shoshone Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.

Uncle Lee married 5 times. First to Juanelle Ward in 1934. They had one son, Ray. Second he m. Era Mae Garrard Ballard Mar. 11, 1946, third, Bernice Fraker Apr. 6, 1948, fourth, Lillian Marie Garrard Nov 30, 1949. They had two children: Paul & Linda Tinney. Fifth marriage was to Mary Isabel Gallagher Nov 23, 1953 of which he had two children: James Dale & Sharon Lee Tinney.

Lee's second & fourth wives were sisters.
