Mrs. Johnson was a registered nurse and last worked at the Women's Prison and Shawnee County Jail.
The daughter of Ralph K. and Doris I. Sharri Holdeman, she was born March 6, 1954, in Emporia. She married Tom G. Johnson on May 14, 1995, in Emporia. He survives.
Mrs. Johnson was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Emporia and attended Crestview United Methodist Church in Topeka. She was a past honored queen of Bethel 4, International Order of Job's Daughters in Emporia, past matron of Miriam Chapter 14 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Emporia and past matron of Beulah Chapter 34, OES.
She is also survived by four brothers, Reuben K. Holdeman of Wichita, Forrest Holdeman of Lansing, Richard Holdeman of Ochelata, Okla., and John Holdeman of Phoenix, Ariz.
The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Crestview United Methodist Church in Topeka. Eastern Star services will be conducted by Beulah Chapter 334. Inurnment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery at Topeka. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
