Mr. Lloyd "Babe" Hanson, age 61, of Atlanta, La., passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport, La. He was a Lifelong Logging Contractor in Winn Parish.
He was the son of the late Floyd Hanson and the late Minnie (Keith) Hanson. Mr. Hanson was also preceded in death by his sister, Nadine Davis.
He is survived by his wife Linda J. (Williams) Hanson of Atlanta, La;
One Daughter, Daphnee Grant and husband Steve of Shreveport, La.
Three Sons, Dale Hanson of Pineville, La. Damon Cox and wife Jill of Winnfield, La. Lavon Hanson and wife Nikki of Atlanta, La.
One Step-Daughter, Kathy Stipek and husband Joe of Atlanta, La.
One Sister, Dorothy Williams of Winnfield, La.

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to service time Saturday, June 21, 2008. Funeral services will be held at Southern Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, with Rev. Blaine Ussery and Rev. Billy Edwards officiating. Interment will be at Atlanta Cemetery in Atlanta, La.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Garner, Shannon Blake, Donnie Shaw, Jim Hudson, Joe Stipek, Timmy Simons, Jimmy Lang, and Tommy Crouse.
