Ms. Tami Denise Smith, age 43 of Atlanta passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
Ms. Smith was born and lived for three years in Frankfurt, Germany. She lived in the Savannah area from the ninth grade through high school. She served in the Peace Corp in the Dominican Republic for 2 1/2 years. She attended Martha Berry College in Rome, GA and received her Masters Degree at West Georgia College. She taught at several Atlanta area schools and was the current Administrative Assistant at South Cobb High School. She was a volunteer at the Homeless Pets Foundation.
