Mabel Orella Gram Rettew was the eldest of three daughters of Henry B. Gram and Alice E. Kauffman Gram: Mabel Orella Gram Rettew, Ada Grace Gram Beittel and Edna E. Gram.
Mabel met and married Charles Raymond Rettew, Sr. who was the fourth child of Daniel Kerst Rettew and Catharine Chalfant Rettew on June 7, 1913. They had one child: Charles Raymond Rettew, Jr.

MRS. CHARLES A. RETTEW
Mabel G. Rettew, wife of Charles A. Rettew, died Monday at her home, 101 Windemere, ave., Lansdowne. She leaves her husband and one son, Charles; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gram, Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Beittel, New York, and Mrs. Edna Engle, Ironville.
Services will be held from the home Wednesday at 8 p.m. followed by further services at the Gram home, Chestnut st., Columbia. Interment will be in Silver Spring cemetery.
