Mary Bernice Boyd Day, born December 8, 1914, in Milltown, New Brunswick, Canada, passed away July 4, 2002 at Parkway Nursing Home in Snohomish. Bernice was the eldest child of John Wallace Boyd and Abigail (Marshall) Boyd.

She has lived in the Everett area for the past 50 years and was past president of the Licensed Practical Nurses Association of Snohomish County; also a past president of the Degree of Pochhontas Tulalip Council #11 of Everett.

She is survived by son, Charles (Muriel) Day of Bothell; daughters, Anne Sessions of Everett and Carol (Pete) Facchini of Everett; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Phillip (Madlyn) Boyd of Lyons, Oregon, and sister, Marty (Des) Bourque of Ontario, Canada. She will also be missed by her many friends at Parkway.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hiram L. Day; sisters, Vera Johnston and Barbara Barlow.
