Mrs. Mary E. Guynn, 80, who resided at 40 South Huntington street for many years, died at 12:30 o'clock Friday in the Wabash County hospital after being seriously ill for the past week. She was admitted to the hospital three weeks ago. Death resulted from complications.
Mrs. Guynn who was the daughter of Michael and Sophia (Schultz) Baker, was born near Urbana on Jan. 14, 1862. She was married to Charles Guynn of Wabash who preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1902. One sister and several nieces and nephews survive. Mrs. Guynn had been a resident of Wabash for 50 years.
The decedent was a member of the Presbyterian church and belonged to the Eastern Star. Twilight services will be conduted by the Eastern Star in the Wire funeral home on Saturday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Wire Funeral home with the Rev. Ware W. Wimberly officiating. Burial will be in falls cemetery.
