Alfred L. Hall, 78, of Grout Township, died Sunday evening at the Gladwin Hospital following a short illness. Born in Butman Township on Dec. 25, 1887, he lived all his life in Gladwin County. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are two nieces in the Gladwin area, Mrs. Arlo Roberts and Mrs. Margaret Strong; and several nieces and nephews in the Saginaw area. Rites were held today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. from the Miner Funeral Home. The Rev. H. A. Brannan officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery.
