"The funeral of Mrs. Theresa Straub Cavanaugh was held yesterday afternoon with services at the Church of the Nativity by Father Keenan. Pallbearers were: Frances(sic) Barthes, Salvadore Toronto, Frank Marie, Arthur Largelliere, Alb. Anderson and Jos. Sherry."

"Mrs. John w. Cavanaugh, 68 and resident of Biloxi for many years, died in New Orleans at 7:30 a.m. today. She has resided there about 20 years. Four sisters: Mrs. Marie Straub, Mrs. Rosie Extine, Mrs. Rosie Ryan and Mrs. Minnie Wheeler, New Orleans; five daughters, Theresa, Marie, Hazel, Annie and Velma; four sons, Wm., Wallace and Elbert, Biloxi , and Pat of New Orleans survive. The body will be brought to Biloxi at 6:25 with services under the auspices of the Catholic Church."
