Terry Brown (Terrance Clayton Brown) was born Sept. 17, 1953 in Salem, Ohio to Joyce McGoogan Brown and Clayton E. Brown. He grew up in Lisbon, Ohio and married Melanie Kusior, with whom he had two children, Chad E. Brown and Casey L. (Brown) Gomersall, and later divorced.

He married Janet E. Brown, his partner forever, on Sept.3, 1977. They lived for a short time in Denver, Colo., then Ohio again and then moved to Vernal in July of 1983. The lord blessed them with four children, Rachel R. Brown, Erica Nicole Brown, Clayton A. Brown (Gus) and Paul G. Brown (Gabe).

Terry was a proud employee of Deseret Power, where he worked for 24 years. An intensely private man, he shared himself with others in action and deed and his identity was in his favorite Bible verse, "Do all things as unto the lord". He never feared anything except the loss of his wife and children before his death. His happiness was complete when he began riding his Harley Davidson thousands of miles with his friends and family. He also loved the mountains, animals, Ohio State football, Seinfeld, music, and the highway.

Terry was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Erica Nicole Brown; grand-daughter, Shelby McKay Taylor; step-mother Janet A. Brown and father Clayton E. Brown.

He leaves behind his wife and three children of Vernal; his daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Scott Gomersall, of Rogers, Ohio; his son Chad, of Charleston, N.C; three grand daughters, Morgan L. Taylor, Malory P. Taylor and Reign D. Brown; sisters, J. Darlene Kissell, Tracy D. House; brothers, Timothy A. Brown and Michael A. Brown, all of Ohio; dog Magnus and the darn cat, Luke, as well as many family and friends all over the country.

Funeral services were held in White Rocks Canyon where Terry spent the four happiest days of his life. Interment in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
