Member of First Baptist Church of Landrum, SC. Twice married, first to the late Jerry Cornelius Ayers and second to Willie B. Barnette. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 1974 at Landrum First Baptist Church with interment in the Green Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County, NC. She was survived by: two daughters, five sons, two step-daughters, three step-sons, 35 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was 82 years of age at her demise.
