KILLED WHILE WORKING
IN CAR REPAIR SHOPS

While working in the car repair shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad at Maclay Street, James L. Redman, aged 25 years, 103 Evergreen Street, was killed about noon yesterday. According to witnesses he was struck behind the ear by the bar of a jack which was released unexpectedly.
Immediately after the accident he was rushed to the Harrisburg Hospital, but he died before he reached that place.
Redman had recently been discharged from the United States Army and only two months ago was married to Miss Edna Frank, of Lebanon. The couple were residing at the home of Redman's parents on Evergreen Street at the time of the accident.

James Lincoln Redman married Edna M. (Dungan) Frank in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on July 2, 1919, when he was 25 years old. His daughter Mary had already been conceived and was born April 12, 1920, 8 months and 10 days after he died.

Some said she was adopted by the Redman family, but in fact she was conceived and born a Redman. She did live as a member of the Redman family until she Married.
