Obituary:
Funeral services for Pearl E. Malie, 84, of 91 Betty Nelson Court, Carlisle, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.
She died Monday May 11, 1998, in Todd Nursing Home, Carlisle.
Born April 10, 1914 in West Pennsboro Township, she was a daughter of the late Frank George and May Edyth Gutshall Renshaw and the widow of Sidney J. Malie, who died Dec. 13, 1969.
Mrs. Malie was formerly employed by Capital Products, Mechanicsburg and was retired from Pleasant Inn on the Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle. She was a member of Opossum Hill Union Church in Lower Frankford Township.
Surviving are a son, Larry C. Barrick of Mechanicsburg; three daughters, Geraldine L. Minich and Geneva L. Martin of Carlisle and Gladys L. Richcreek of Newville; two brothers, Lee R. Renshaw of Shippensburg and Roy Renshaw of Middletown; a sister, Pauline Keck of Carlisle; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
The Rev. Randy L. Zook will officiate at services. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hampton Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
