Mrs. Delmar Prince
Mrs. Anna Clair [it is spelled Claire on her delayed birth certificate] Knowles Smith Prince, aged 73, of 2600 John Ashley Drive, North Little Rock, widow of Delmar Prince, died Friday. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church at North Little Rock. She was born at Mena, daughter of Joe Dowe and Sarah Melissa Stamper Knowles. Survivors are two sons, Roger Walter Smith of North Little Rock and Arthur T. Smith of Atlanta; two stepsons, Curtis Prince of North Little Rock and Charles Prince of Luling, Louisiana; three brothers, Otis Knowles of Little Rock, Preston Knowles Sr. of El Dorado and Earl Knowles of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan; six grandchildren; six stepgrandchild; a great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth by Rev. Dennis Tyner. Burial will be at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church.
