Johnie Earl James, 77, of Vaiden died Sept. 26, 2006 at Hospice in His Hands in Madden.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Sept. 27 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko.

Graveside services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at North Union Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Oakes and Rev. George Felts officiating.

James was a member of North Union Baptist Church and a retired Attala County road foreman with Beat 3.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys E. James; two daughters, Johnnie Ann Fullilove of Vaiden and Melissa D. Davis of Brookhaven; six sons, Jason James of Vaiden, Samuel Willoughby of Kempner, Texas, Paul Willoughby of Jackson, Roger Willoughby of Shaw, Ransdale Willoughby of Itta Bena, Dennis Willoughby of Ellsworth, Maine; four sisters, Flay Vance and Nancy Scroggins of Winona, Polly Horne and Nora Lynn Story, both of Kosciusko; four brothers, Henry James of Drew, Thomas James of Zama, Jeff James and Howard James of Winona; 10 grandchilden.
