Stamford - Lora "Curlie" Long, 97, died Monday, July 27, 2009.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Friday at Trinity Baptist Church with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home in Stamford.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM today at the funeral home.

Lora was born in Seymour, Tx, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Renfro Stroud. She married Aubry D. Long 05/28/1930 in Hamlin, Tx. Curlie & A.D. farmed and raised their family in the Tuxedo Community until retiring in 1968.
Curlie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Charles Long; five sisters, & three brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Peg Lindsey and Pat Crenshaw & husband James, all of Stamford; one daughter in law, Carole Long of Anson; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; & three great, great grandchildren.
