She was born Jan. 29, 1946 in Cullman to Raymond Looney and Stella Garrison Looney. She was a member of Chapel Baptist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Author McGregor; an infant son, Thomas Lynn McGregor; and a grandson, Christopher McGregor.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy Junior McGregor and Terry Wayne McGregor, both of Decatur; two daughters, Tammy Jo McGregor Beam and Tina Michelle McGregor Snider, both of Athens; a brother, Wayne Looney of Hartselle; four sisters, Dorothy Barnett, Barbara Hamilton and Wilma Thiem, all of Hartselle, and Linda Quillen of Moulton; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Garman, Mike Hamilton, Jerry Quillen, James Mills, Mark Snider and Michael Lewis.
