Funeral services for Jimmy Lamar Baggett, 60, of Grady County, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Long Branch Baptist Church. Rev. David Pickering will officiate with interment to follow in Long Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Clark Funeral Home. Mr. Baggett passed away at his home on Friday, August 07, 2009.

Pallbearers will be David Hoskins, Junior Baggett, David Golesai, Mike Miller, Sonny Byrd, Billy Reagan and William Edmonson.

Mr. Baggett was born on July 15, 1949, in Grady County to Sarah Griffin Baggett, who survives, and the late Stonewall Baggett. He was employed in the logging business.

Survivors include: former wife, Lutrele Wiggins of Pelham, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Paula Baggett of Pelham, GA; daughter, Angela Baggett of Lake Park, GA; stepson, David Hoskins of Lake Park, GA; sister, Josephine Miller of Cairo, GA; brothers, Bill Baggett of Cairo, GA, Johnny Baggett of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Samantha Baggett of Pelham, GA, BreAnn Baggett of Pelham, GA; mother, Sarah Baggett of Thomasville, GA.
