Mrs. Mary Louise Hahn, 84, formerly of Frederick, died Monday, Dec. 30, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

She was the wife of Roland T. Hahn, who died Dec. 25, 1979.

Born Dec. 12, 1918, in McKaig, she was a daughter of the late Clarence A. King and Emma L. Newcomer King-Smith.

Mrs. Hahn was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, Woodsboro, and the American Legion Auxiliary, Shiloh, Pa.

In her earlier years, she was a fabulous cook, seamstress and flower gardener. She was an avid bingo player.

Surviving are son, Roland T. Hahn II and wife Judy of Harrisburg, Pa.; daughter, Pat Hahn-Carlson and husband Dean of St. Paul, Minn.; four grandchildren, Jared Hahn, Erica Hahn, Emily Hahn-Carlson and Laura Hahn-Carlson; stepmother, Myrtle King of Thurston; six sisters, Margaret Hahn of Sabillasville, Emma Rhoderick and husband Delbert of Adamstown, Rosa Driggers, Helen Burdette and husband Ralph, and Elsie Johnson, all of Thurston, and Rebecca Crook and husband Leroy of Frederick; five brothers, Clarence A. King Jr. and wife Kay of Middletown, Walter W. King of Jefferson, Floyd H. King and Roland Thomas King, both of Thurston, and Martin L. King and wife Wilma of Adamstown; one stepbrother, Cameron Smith of York, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hahn was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur F. King; a stepsister, Mary Adams; and a stepbrother, Clifton Smith.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m., Friday Jan. 3, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro, with the Rev. Richard P. Rutkauskas Jr., her pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
