Husband of Maria "Marian" Greene born in Cork County, in Ireland in 1858.
Another record at a wedding suggests she was born in Dublin County, Ireland.

Presbyterian Church Record: Register of Funerals.
Wisconsin DePere, Merrill
Name: Andrew Bain
Age: 74yr, 3mo, 6ds
Residence: W. De Pere
Place of Burial: Sniderville Cem.
Date: Feb 12, '29 (burial date)

This cemetery or any Presbyterian Church in Snyderville, WI is long gone along Highway 41at the intersection of Roads DDD and U.

A search of the records showed others were buried out of this Presbyterian Church and buried in the 'Snyderville' Cemetery. Some are buried at Lawrence-Old Cady Cemetery and others are at South Lawrence Cemetery. It clearly says they were buried at Snyderville Cemetery but they are in other cemeteries. South Lawrence Cemetery is the the so-called Snyderville Cemetery.

His wife Mariah Marie Mariam Green was not listed as buried at Snyderville Cemetery and her death date was covered in the funeral register. Maybe she was still Catholic and buried out of a different church. She was buried from St Francis Xavier in DePere, WI.

Andrew Bain Sr. and Isobel Clink's burials are not listed either.
Andrew R Bain appears to be the only Bain burial listed at this postulated Church of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, aka, First Presbyterian Church.

"It is near some Church, St Peter. The Cemetery there is St Patrick. Both are Catholic places." - - internet posting comment. "It's between Wrightstown and DePere."

I found, "Saint Patrick Catholic Cemetery" west of French Road and east of highway I-41. It is south of South Lawrence Cemetery on the French Road 'extension' below Road DD and U.

Updated Dec, 2019 info from Jeff A. on the Brown County Rootsweb list. My thanks to Jeff.
Jeff wrote, "In a book I have entitled, "Wrightstown Village on the Fox" by Ruth D. Roebke-Berens and John F. Berens, it says on page 67 that the "Sniderville Cemetery" as it was often called is now called South Lawrence Cemetery. So it's the same cemetery. Rev Augustus Phillips, the pastor for the Baptist Church at Sniderville was buried there in 1907, which leads me to believe that the so called Baptist Cemetery at Sniderville is also in fact South Lawrence."

Andrew Bain is not listed in S. L. Cem. but a historical document and a history entry now puts him in this cemetery now named South Lawrence Cemetery, formerly Sniderville Cemetery on I-41. He's not really there. He is in the Old Cady Cemetery.

Danielle Green took a photograph of the Andrew Bain marker as "1854 father" in Old Cady / Lawrence Cemetery but the Presbyterian burial register shows Sniderville, now likely South Lawrence Cemetery. Was he moved to Cady by the family? No. His entry is a ditto mark form the person above him. It's a clerical error. He is buried at Old Cady in Lawrence.

Email photograph request, May, 2011.
"I have been to the Lawrence Cemetery three times in search of the grave site of Andrew (b.1822) and Isabelle (b. 1828) Bain. The caretaker for the cemetery has assisted me with the search and met me at the cemetery to assist with two of the three searches. According to cemetery records, which are not 100% complete nor accurate, there is no record of Andrew or Isabelle Bain.. Entering the cemetery on the road to the right (north), there is a gravesite for Andrew (1854-1929) and Marie (1858-1926) and daughter Nellie (1886-1887) Bain. "
Daughter Nellie was confirmed as buried at Cady. This was not a South Lawrence Cemetery request.

Andrew R Bain married Maria Green on Dec 9th, 1878 in Toledo, Ohio. They were listed as 'from Chicago', not like most people listed as from "Toledo, O". Proven. So, Andrew and Maria were living in Chicago in 1878 but where in Chicago and with whom? Where was her mother that died in 1898 in West DePere, Brown County, WI? Silence in records.
