Herbert A. Barr Sr., 52, a cooper, died suddenly of a heart attack at 6:30 o'clock Monday night at his home, 221 Cavel Street. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Laura Barr; three sons, Kenneth J. Barr; Anthony Barr and Herbert A. Barr Jr.; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Roby, Owensboro, Ky.; Mrs. Bruce Thorn, Vincennes, Ind.; Miss Mildred Barr and Miss Rosemary Barr, New Albany; five brothers, George Barr, Fred Barr and Beckham Barr, all of Rhodelia, Ky., and Lonny Barr and Orville Barr, both of Chicago, and four sisters, Mrs. Leola Toby, Louisville; Mrs. William Wathen and Mrs. Martha Peters, both of Rhodelia, and Mrs. John Bryant of New Albany.
