Gary served in the army as a member of the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Ky. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from Chadron State College in 1975 and a Master's Degree from the University of Nebraska in 1976. After receiving his Masters Degree he returned with his family to Wyoming.
Gary is survived by his wife, Sharon Materi-Huber, the love of his life. Gary and Sharon were united in love and marriage on Aug. 4, 2009. Gary is also survived by one daughter, two sons, one step-daughter, and seven grandchildren. Also surviving Gary are his mother, Ina Huber; his brother and sister, as well as many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceeded in his death with his dad, Estell "Bud" Huber; his daughter, Anndee Huber; and two uncles, Jack Huber and Bayard "Junior" Huber.
