James Peter Monarski - A Memorial Mass for James Peter Monarski will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 30th, 2009 at Saint Bartholomew Parish Community, located on the corner of Alameda de las Pulgas and Crystal Springs Rd. San Mateo, CA 94402.

Jim died peacefully in his home on January 23rd, 2009 with his loving wife Kaye and only son John by his side.

Jim was born on Dec. 11th, 1932 in St. Cloud, MN.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kaye Beaumont Monarski, their son John James Monarski and sister Kay Waldorf (Monarski) of St. Cloud, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Magdalene Monarski, brother Charles John Monarski, sisters Lucille Allegreza (Monarski) and Eloise Stebinger (Monarski)

Jim was raised and educated in St. Cloud. In 1957 he joined the United States Navy and was stationed in the Philippines and Hawaii. After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy on 5th December, 1961, Jim's business career began on the east coast in the electrical and electronics industry. He was soon promoted to district manager for The Burndy Connector Company as a distributor on the west coast and throughout California. Jim then began his own manufacturing agency called JM Electrical Sales. As President and founder of his company, he served the electrical industry for over 25 years.

Jim was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are sent to Pathways Hospice 585 North Mary Avenue Sunnyvale, California 94085.
