Died.
Bolinger. - On Tuesday, April 25, 1881, of consumption, Mrs. Elenor J. Bolinger, in her twenty-sixth year.
Elenor Jane Bolinger was born in Hocking county, Ohio, May 15, 1854, and died of consumption in this city April 25, 1881, aged 26 years, 11 months and ten days.
She was married to her now bereaved husband A.H. Bolinger, January 4, 1872. She leaves a daughter eight years old and her companion and friends to mourn her departure, but they realize that their loss is her gain. May the All Father comfort the mourning ones, and guide them to the haven of happiness when life's stormy sea is passed. One brother and sister live here, and her mother still lives in Ohio.
Deceased was converted at the age of fourteen, and united with the M.E. church and has since lived a consistent Christian life.
She had been in feeble health for years, and for the last ten wewks confined to her bed. Admidst all her afflictions she was patient and uncomplaining, and not a murmur escaped her lips. When asked by her friends if she was read to go, she replied in the affirmative, and added, "if you were all as well prepared you would have nothing to fear." She trusted her Redeemer to the last, and he was her comfort and joy.
The funeral was attended from the M.E. church by a large concourse of sympathizing friends. Rev. A.N. See, pastor of the M.E. church, preached the funeral sermon.
