Katherine "Kitty" Parlier Origer, 87, of Louisa, VA passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 at U.V.A. Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
She was born January 29, 1922 in Buckner, VA to the late Ralph Allen Parlier and Stella Kirby Parlier.
She was a member of Louisa Baptist Church where she attended Eva Vaughn Sunday School Class and she loved to garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Origer and her siblings, Sadie P. Ellis, Raymond A. Parlier, Edith P. Ellis and Dixon K. Parlier.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Origer Woolfolk and husband Cosby of Louisa, VA, her grandsons, Cosby "Rob" Woolfolk and wife Stephanie and their sons, Matthew, John and Zac of Louisa, VA, Thomas Woolfolk and wife Carrie and their sons Joel and Luke of Louisa, VA, Kirby Woolfolk and wife Carly and their daughter Cora of Crewe, VA, her nieces and nephews, Susan Parlier and Kenneth Parlier of Columbia, SC, Dixon Ellis, Sr. of Louisa, VA and Fred Ellis of Richmond, VA and their families.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 13th at Woodward Funeral Home, 200 Fredericksburg Ave., Louisa, VA 23093. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Friday, August 14th at Louisa Baptist Church with Rev. Murphy Terry and Rev. Paige Green officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
