Charlotte Marie Gruver, of OTOW (On Top Of The World), died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at The Legacy Hospice House of Ocala. A native of Packwood, Iowa, she came here in 1991 from Muscatine, Iowa. She was 86.

Mrs. Gruver was an educator for the Iowa, Public School System. She attended and played piano at the Countryside Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Verl W. Gruver of Ocala; daughters, Suzanne Leib of Erie, Pa., Mary Ziegenhorn of Ocala; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Countryside Presbyterian Church Music Department.

Roberts Funeral Home, Bruce West Chapel, provided the information.

Charlotte was a very beautiful women, soft spoken, and friendly. She grew up in Winfield, IA, the only child in her family. Her father was the town doctor. Her maiden name is NORTH, and descends from a strong German family that immigrated from around Schwaigern, Germany.
