Edith C. Lambert, 84, of Brunswick, MD, formerly of Poolesville, MD, passed away on Friday September 8, 2017.
She was the wife of the late Jasper T. Lambert, Sr. who passed away in 1986.
Born on August 16, 1933 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William K. and Emma R. Carlin.
Edith worked as a bank teller in Poolesville for 35 years. She loved bird watching and was an avid reader.
Surviving are her daughters, Sherri K. Farr and husband Don of Poolesville, Catherine A. Angell and husband Robert of Brunswick, MD; 5 grandchildren, Brian and Evan Lambert, Karen Conway, Kimberly Cochran, Angela Best and 4 great grandchildren.
Edith was preceded in death by one son, Jasper T. “Jack” Lambert, Jr., two sisters, Frances Carlin and Mary Stephens and one brother, William K. Carlin, Jr.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday September 14 from 6-8 PM at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD (hiltonfh.com) where funeral services will be held on Friday September 15 at 11 AM.
Interment will follow in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, MD.
