Mr. Jasper Thomas Lambert Sr., 55, of 20635 Whites Ferry Road, Poolesville, died Friday, Aug. 8, at his residence.

He was the husband of Edith Lambert.

Born Nov. 16, 1930, in Dickerson, Mr. Lambert was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paris Lambert.

Surviving are two daughters, Sherri Farr and Catherine Baker, both of Germantown; one son, Jasper Thomas Lambert Jr., Gaithersburg; one sister, Elsie Pauline Nichols, Poolesville; one brother, William Wesley Lambert, Damascus; four grandchildren, Angela Baker, Karen Monroe, Kimberly Farr and Brian Lambert.

Friends may call 24 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at the funeral home. The Rev. Hottinger, Poolesville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

Expressions of sympathy in Mr. Lambert's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11323 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, Md. 20902.
