NOTES: Executed "for the murder of his father,mother, and brother, in Dayton, on the night of November 4, 1905, while under the influence of drugs. It is said that he administered a powerful drug to the members of his family and while they were under its influence he murdered them with a knife, after which he set fire to the building. While fleeing from the building he was captured and his crime discovered. He was a highly educated man, but the use of a powerful drug transformed him from a Dr. Jekyl to a Mr. Hyde.
