One of the most largely attended funerals ever held here took place Monday when Mr. Frank Gudat was buried at the Catholic cemetery. About one year ago Frank Gudat moved to San Diego. (Duval County, TX) For the few weeks he was at Meyersville for a visit, when he suddenly took sick at the home of his brother Ben Gudat. Medical attention could not save his life and death came after one day's illness. He is survived by his wife (Fannie L. Arnold Gudat)and seven children. He was 52 years old.
