Gregory Ray Kimball, age 37, of Laona, WI formerly of Kenosha, passed away of a sudden illness on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rhinelander. Greg was born in Kenosha on October 30, 1969 the son of Ray and Marlene (Fohrman) Kimball.
He graduated from Jane Vernon in 1990. Greg worked for Headwaters in Rhinelander for the past 16 years. He loved sports, especially baseball and bowling, going on trips to the casino with his mom and dad, music and the drums. Greg loved life and everyone and enjoyed spending time with his family. Greg is loved and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his mother, Marlene Kimball, Laona; sister, Tammera Rae Vela, Kenosha; brothers, Jeffery Ray (Diane) Kimball, Kenosha and Tagren Ray (Roxane) Kimball, Kenosha; seven nieces and nephews, Anthony Ray (Amanda) Vela and Daniel Ray Vela,
Mallory, Randy and Ryan Kimball and Samantha Rae and Kody Ray Kimball and three great nephews, Dylan Ray, Daniel Ray II and Casey Ray Vela. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray and his grandparents.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 31 from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Leonard Catholic Church, Laona. Funeral mass followed at 11 a.m. with Father John Cerkas officiating. Interment was at the Laona Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Anthony and Daniel Vela; Mike and Gary Aschenbrenner and Albin and Rod Chitko.
