Tombstone is no longer visible.

The Pisgah Cemetery is now located about a quarter of a mile off the road on a private farm. I have taken photos of the stones which are still visible. There are several that are down and under the surface of the ground. The old cemetery is completely overgrown in a stand of trees. In the summer time, it is next to impossible to get around in the overgrowth without crawling. Due to the large number of copperhead snakes, it is not a good idea to try this. In the winter and early spring, four wheel drive is necessary to get back into the field to get to the cemetery.
