James H Cirbus 50, a former resident of Gifford St. Syracuse, died Tuesday in Van Dyne Hospital in Syracuse where he had been a patient for the last 3 years. He was born in Syracuse, son of Edward and Mary Benedict Cirbus and was a lifelong resident of that area. He was employed in general construction work. Mr Cirbus is survived by a wife- Mrs Charlotte Backus Cirbus, four sisters: Mrs Margaret Selley, Mrs Elizabeth Bell, Mrs Agnes O'Hara and Miss Mildred Cirbus, two brothers: Edward and Frank. A high mass will be celebrated at St Stephens Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
