Born in Wakeman, O., Mr Betts lived virtually his entire life in Camden Township. He was a farmer and a member of the Camden Volunteer Fire Dept.
Surviving are his widow Eda, a daughter Mrs. Elden Radcliffe, New London; sons Frederick, Union, NJ; and Chalmer at home, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, a sister Mrs. William Whitney, Oberlin; and brother Clarence L., of Kipton.
Interment will be in the Camden Cemetery.
