Edith Sundquist, 83, Texas, died Oct 23, 2004.
She was the daughter of Frank and Myrtle Scott, rural Concordia. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1939. She married Dean Sundquist of Derby, Iowa in 1944. They raised their family in Wichita, lived briefly in San Diego and then located in Dallas in 1972. She retired from JC Penney Co. in 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Sundquist of Dallas and Bradley Sundquist of Highland, Calif.; a sister, Florence Swenson of Concordia; two brothers, Walter Scott of South Hutchinson and Virgil Scott of Manhatten; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
