Clyde A. Beicke, 86, of Naples, Fla., a retired inspection supervisor at the Chevrolet Motor Division plant of General Motors Corp. on East Delavan Avenue, died Wednesday (June 16, 1999) in his home after a brief illness.
Born in Buffalo, Beicke was a graduate of Hutchinson-Central High School. He worked for General Motors for 41 years, retiring in 1974. He moved from Orchard Park to Florida in 1978.
Beicke was an avid golfer and bowler.
He is survived by his wife, the former Josephine M. Zelazny; a daughter, Lois Bauer of Cheektowaga; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
