He went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2009 after a sudden illness. Bill was born in Corpus Christi,TX; but, spent the majority of his career at Barksdale AFB, where he was a 22 year veteran. He was currently employed at Custom Printed Products. He was a well-loved husband, father, son, brother, paw-paw, uncle, and friend. Bill loved fishing and playing ping-pong with his beloved grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Adolph Duelm.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years JoAnn Duelm; four daughters, Tiffaney Reardon and husband Matthew, Sonya Ayon, Jennifer Stengel, and husband Wesley, and Brittany Duelm; mother, Iva Lucille Duelm; brothers Henry and Joe Duelm, and sister Henrietta Duelm Griffis; six grandchildren, Amanda, Mason, Morgan, Joe, Madison, and Luke; and two great-grandchildren, Seth and Kadin. He also leaves a host of other family and very dear friends..
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Knight and the nursing staff at the CCU at Schumpert Highland for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
