PRODUCTION CREDIT ASSOCIATION, WICHITA FALLS, TX

A Tribute to Morris Robertson - April 1995

For the last 15 years, Morris Robertson has played an integral role in leading Wichita Falls PCA. First elected to the board of directors in 1980, Morris retired last month.

Morris has a farming/ranch operation in Balor and Knox counties, where he produces wheat and stockers. He has been a member of Wichita Falls PCU since 1967. He and his wife, Faye, have been great assets to the association, serving without complaint and with untiring dedication.

"Morris Robertson is the kind of individual we all want our children to grow up to be like," says PCA President Rick Roach. "He has integrity, is honest, a hard worker and kind hearted. Morris has provided solid leadership and direction to the association over the years. He has served unselfishly, always placing the good of the association first."

"It is hard to sum Morris up in just a few words," Rick adds. "Morris is a true friend to everyone, and we will miss his leadership and wisdom."

Rick's sentiments were echoed by his peers on the board. Chairman Don Ramsey noted, "Abraham Lincoln said many years ago that, 'All men are created equal.' From that creation, man travels down many paths in life which causes some to rise above the crowd. Such a man is Morris Robertson.

"Serving on Wichita Falls PCA"s Board of Directors with Morris for the last 15 years has been an experience of consistency in this man's life. He will long be remembered for his staunch support of this association. We wish him and Faye our best."

Kent Creel, the association's newest director elected in 1994, said, "Morris made me feel very comfortable as a new board member. I think he is as good and honest a fellow as there is. I have enjoyed serving on the board with Morris; he is fun to be with, and I hate to see him retire."
