Mrs. Rebecca Gardner, Wabash R.R. 2, died in her home on the Farr Pike Friday evening at 6:30 o'clock following a six-month illness.
She was born in Wabash county on Oct. 30, 1865 and had resided here during her entire life. She was the daughter of John and Mary Baer and the wife of Elvy Gardner, to whom she was married in 1892. He preceded her in death in 1934.
Survivors are a son, Leonard Gardner, Wabash R.R. 2; a sister, Mrs. Hanna Gardner, and a brother, Mack Baer, both of Wabash; and one grandchild.
She was a member of the Glenn Bible class and of the Christian Church.
The body has been taken to the Hoover Funeral Home where friends may call. The Rev. Elwood Dunn will conduct services Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the funeral home. #Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
