On October 16, 1808, he married Rachel H. Grove, daughter of Dr. Jacob Grove of Reading, Pennsylvania.
He served during the War of 1812 from 1812 to 1814.

Mr. Ninian Beall, for many years a useful citizen of our city, but for the last six or eight a resident of Montgomery County, died at his residence on Saturday last. He was one of the leading representatives in our City Councils. His remains will be buried by the Masonic fraternity this afternoon, from the residence of his son, G.W. Beall.
