Shelia Elaine Wilson passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009. She was born on Nov. 14, 1955, to the late Theodore Wilson and Iris Wilson Walton. Shelia leaves behind three sons, Alonzo Lawson Jr., Travis Wilson and companion LaToyia Alsum and Bernard Wills, all of Terre Haute; three daughters, Iris McGee of Terre Haute, Shelia Jennings of Milwaukee and Joy Wilson of Indianapolis; two grandsons, Imillyaun Williams, and Na'sier "Naz" McNeal; a brother, Donald R. Lyle (Cindy) of Washington, D.C.; four sisters, Jacqueline Hammond (Wesley), Diane Brown, Brenda Wilson (David Towles) and Debra Cork (Richard), all of Terre Haute; and several nieces, nephews and friends. She attended Terre Haute North High School. Shelia was a fun loving and caring person. She will be missed by all. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday at the St. John Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Ladd officiating. Visitation is noon until 2 p.m., Monday in the funeral home. Interment is in Grandview Cemetery. Russell Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
